The Manti 4 parachute is designed for use with the DJI Matrice 4T drone and is also compatible with the Matrice 4D/4TD drones when equipped with the Manti 4 Dock version. This parachute system features dual-sensor detection and the APS 3.0 Parachute Deployment Algorithm, ensuring quick and reliable deployment when needed to save the drone and keep your flight safe.

Powered by a new processor, the Manti 4 parachute system has tripled its computing speed, allowing for a rapid 500ms deployment response time. The APS 3.0 algorithm further enhances the system’s reliability, providing efficient performance during flight.

The Manti 4 Dock version includes key safety features such as FTS-based propeller stop and red-and-blue flashing warning lights, further improving operational safety, especially during inspections and high-risk missions.

For the first time, the Manti 4 parachute is applied to industrial drones such as the Matrice 4 and Matrice 4D/4TD, marking a significant upgrade to the Manti series. Both models have been rigorously tested through thousands of parachute deployment tests and false trigger detection simulations, ensuring that the system is both stable and reliable.

Dual – sensor detection of flight attitude

The DJI Matrice 4 parachute data from both an accelerometer and a barometric pressure sensor to accurately determine the drone’s flight attitude, providing enhanced precision and greater safety redundancy.With its forward-deployment parachute algorithm, it effectively eliminates the risk of propeller entanglement.

Once the drone enters alert mode, Manti’s sensors continuously monitor its flight attitude in real time. The APS system analyzes flight posture 300 times per second and records flight logs.
In the event of an emergency, the parachute is deployed forward at the optimal moment.

The 1.1 m² canopy generates significant air resistance, while its three-layer special coating reduces air permeability. This results in a controlled descent speed of just 5.5 m/s, effectively minimizing impact energy and helping to protect people and property on the ground.

The processor speed has tripled compared to the previous generation, delivering more powerful and efficient data processing capabilities.
At the same time, it features lower power consumption and reduced heat generation, allowing the APS 3.0 system to operate more smoothly and reliably — further enhancing overall flight safety.

APS 3.0 Parachute Deployment Algorithm

Flyfire’s proprietary parachute deployment algorithm—APS 3.0—integrates data from the IMU and accelerometer to determine the optimal timing for parachute activation.
It can interface with the drone to access flight control data, and has been trained on data from thousands of real-world incidents.
Combined with Flyfire’s unique forward-deployment algorithm, it significantly reduces the risk of propeller entanglement during deployment, ensuring greater flight safety.

Flight Log Recording

With a newly added RTC (Real-Time Clock) and 128MB of storage, the system can accurately record detailed flight logs.
It automatically generates log files for each flight, which users can export and submit to Flyfire for precise analysis of crash causes.
